Talk about being a rookie.

“You’d be hard pressed to find a rookie’s first ten games better than this,” Skiles said. “Maybe somebody has, but he’s had as good a 10-game start as anybody I’ve been aware of in my 20-plus years in the league.”

The Bobcats now fall to 3-9, as the Bucks, surprisingly, move up to 7-3. Gerald Wallace led Charlotte with 22 points, ten rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and two steals.

Newly-acquired player Stephen Jackson scored 22 points in his third game as a Charlotte Bobcat.

“This was one of the first times we actually shot pretty good from the field,” Wallace said of his performance. “(But we) missed 17 free throws. We’re at this point right now where we dig ourselves out of one hole and end up finding ourselves off in another hole.”

The Bobcats need to fix their holes as they’ll be facing a hungry Pacers team, who will look to be 6-5. The Bobcats would kill for that record.

And yet, they don’t sign A.I. Surprised? No, not really. But anyways, we face the Pacers at 5 on the 22nd.

No, he wasn’t big. But the way he plays the game of basketball truly was.

Augustin played 72 games last season as a backup to Raymond Felton. Augustin played well, averaging 11.8 points, 3.5 assists, and 0.6 steals per game. It was very closely compared to Felton.

It was questioned that Augustin was going to start at point guard with the rumors going on of Felton leaving or being traded.

But now entering the 2009 season, Augustin is looking to build up his game, even with being a backup to Felton still. But with some new additions to the team, including a draft pick in Gerald Henderson, it won’t matter.

Even with him as a backup, he can change the game. I mean Charlotte can look real good this year, I got to admit that. I mean, I see them better than the Pacers even, you’re listening to a fan of Indy here.

Augustin is looking to tear it up baldy on the court. With some Charlotte fans pissed about them passing Brook Lopez back in the Draft, they really need to change their mind.

And Augustin will. D.J. doesn’t deserve to be criticized.

Augustin is small but mighty. I like how he plays. He’s a tiny guard that can dominate in many areas. He’s slick and can just make you look completely foolish on his pick-and-rolls with his speed running up towards the basket.

You’ll just be amazed. And also, you got his dazzling three-pointer that can leave off a sparkle in your eyes. But Augustin does sometimes get intimidated of his size. Sometimes he can’t even contest with his shots.

If he can take advantage of the gift he has, quickness, he can excel and be a very strong and powerful point guard.

And with the talent Charlotte has on their team with guys liek Felton, Raja Bell, Henderson, Gerald Wallace, Vladimir Radmanovic, Boris Diaw, Tyson Chandler, DeSagana Diop, and Nazr Mohammed, they have a one-way ticket to the playoffs.

And D.J. is there to make it possible.

According to several sources, the Charlotte Bobcats have waived guards Antonio Anderson and Dontell Jefferson.

Anderson had averaged 3.4 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.4 rebounds in five preseason games. Anderson went undrafted in this year’s NBA Draft and was signed by Charlotte back in September on the 25th.

Well, now that time has ended, after about a month.

Same goes for Dontell Jefferson, but who stayed longer with the team when he was signed on March 11. But he did sign two ten-day contracts and then stayed under contract for the rest of the season.

From that time for the remainder of the season; Jefferson averaged 4.8 points, two rebounds, and 1.5 assists. In the preseason, he averaged 2.3 points per game.

The Bobcats have recently just came off a 95-92 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies and are ready for their upcoming game against the Boston Celtics on the 28th. It’s going to be fun and we’ll see how Charlotte does!
